Urban Aboriginee & Filthy Digital Recordings Present "Out of Asia" in West Los Angeles

Los Angeles is known across the world as a melting pot of musical culture and creativity. On December 18th, 2009, an event will take place which pushes the boundaries of that reputation. Two crews with roots deep into the DnB and Dubstep community have collaborated to present and event simply titled "OUT OF ASIA" to the city's stellar reputation of outstanding nightlife. A little info about the two driving forces behind this event are as follows. Urban Aboriginee, (founded by MC Dino) is a collective of MCs, Producers, DJs, Dancers and Artists. With a strong foundation of Drum & Bass and Jungle, UA is known worldwide to bring the ruckus to the party. Also involved in the event is Filthy Digital Recordings (founded by Mike "Honcho" Wilson [RIP]), a major up-and-coming Dubstep label. With close to 30 releases and 1000s of tracks sold, Filthy Digital is no stranger to the Dubstep community. This will be the second event collaboration from these two, the first packing out an underground venue 400 people deep with performances from Reid Speed, Pawn, Reactivity and MC Dino. This time around, they mean business. Moving the event up to the music "Mecca" of southern California, Los Angeles. They have upped the bar by securing a venue and lineup line no other. 

For the first event of it's kind, OUT OF ASIA will be held at an unbelievable new venue in West Los Angeles. This location is fully secure and unlike anything Los Angeles has seen before. Patrons arriving to OUT OF ASIA will witness a huge outdoor area with a traditional Korean BBQ chef serving up Korean Tacos, video games will be playable on projection screens and cutting-edge art displays. All of this while being entertained by the smooth sounds of our outdoor stage with trip hop, 80's, hip hop and retro sounds. Upon entry of the 10000 sq. ft. main area, a fully stocked bar and lounge area is set directly next to a huge dance floor and stage. Authentic Asian artifacts, furniture and decor is tastefully placed throughout the venue all adding to a vibe that cannot be duplicated any other location. 

First is the one and only GRIDLOK. Fresh off a release of his latest LP "Void", this DnB veteran has coined the term and offered plenty of reasoning "Drum & Bass will never die" with an onslaught of releases and mixes from Project 51, Violence Recordings and more. Anyone who has ever attending a GRIDLOK set can attest that he brings the ultimate FIRE. Another performer of the night is REID SPEED. Owner and founder of Play Me Records, she was recently nominated as DJ Magazine's "Top 100 US DJ's". REID SPEED is known to always rock the party, no matter what. Within a set, REID SPEED covers musical genres like DNB, Dubstep, Fidget House, Electro and more. One thing guaranteed though, REID SPEED, brings the bass, PERIOD. Also performing is HD4000. This Dubstep production duo is building a huge name for themselves in the undergound music scene. You can find remixes and original tunes from HD4000 available on Filthy Digital Recordings, Dubstep Records and of course on their website or tune into a weekly radio show on uber-popular www.dubstep.fm ("Hits From The Hard Drive"). Hosting the evening and performing alongside REID SPEED and GRIDLOK is the legendary MC DINO. having recently toured as one of the members of the MONSTERS OF JUNGLE tour (with Dieselboy, Dara, Evol Intent, etc), MC DINO is no stranger to the stage. Dino has performed at some the biggest events in the world and we might as well say it. the BIGGEST events in LA history (aka, Nocturnal, EDC, Together as One). Landmarking his 1st appearance in LA since relocating to Denver, CYMATICSwill be offering a Dubstep/Glitch set that is sure to set the dancefloor on fire. Also on the bill is XXXL vs SAMXL (representing PURE FILTH), APX-1(Tonz of drumz/I love LA), Reactivity (Urban Aboriginee/Pacific foundation) and NEEDZ MOAR DUBSTEP, a 4 DJ tagteam with DJ's Violet Gray,Chefugee, Dodger and Dub-a-tak (Filthy Digital/Sonus/UA) Along side a stellar lineup of headliners, OUT OF ASIA will also feature special performances from upcoming artists Sage Emeralds and Fuzzy.
